As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Karin may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Areu; and her children, Cary and Pamela. She was also cherished by grandmother to her four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arlington Mortuary (9645 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503). A rosary will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church (3680 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92506). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
