We are sad to announce that on April 10, 2025, at the age of 77, Joan Edwards Malcolm (Riverside, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Joan leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her significant other Denis Malcolm; her children, Andrea Noble (Malcolm) and Jonathan Malcolm; her grandchildren, Timmery Noble and David Griffith; and her sister Patsy Hjalmarson. She is also survived by nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Akes Family Funeral Home (9695 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92503-3645). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Magnolia Church (8351 Magnolia Ave, Riverside, CA 92504). A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Riverside National Cemetery (22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518).
