It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verla Mae Long (Ripon, California), born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Long; her parents, Lauritz Ruste and Esther Ruste; and her sisters, Maurgarete Judt, Maxine Loewenstein and Jean Specker.

She is survived by: her sister Verda Hollingsworth of Ripon; and her nieces and nephews, Linda Pierce, Sharon Burke and Barbara Vrieling of Ripon.
