He was predeceased by: his parents, Arie and Aletha (Meyering); and his siblings, Betty Jane Schaapman, Arie (Bud), Ron and Walt.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Van Till (Van Till); his children, Deb Van Groningen (Mark) of Ripon, CA, Shari Post (Dick) of Caledonia, MI, Mike and Jim (Andrea) of Folsom, CA; his sister Audrey Hekman (Bill) of Salem, OR; and his grandchildren, Eric Van Groningen (Kelly), Renee Partridge (Adam), Andrea Meek (Jon), Lindsey Nostrant (Josh), Kendra Strang (Zach), Marissa Brown (Cody), Luke Post, Arie, Amy, Michelle and Reijer. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
