She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Sara Snodgrass (Bob) and Henry Weststeyn (Shelly); her grandchildren, Greg Snodgrass (Nicole), Brad Snodgrass (Whitnie), Samantha Rovig (Jake), Ryan Weststeyn, Mark Weststeyn (Emily) and Amy Quinonez (Corbin); her great grandchildren, Adam Snodgrass, Ashley Snodgrass, Jonathan Snodgrass, Otto Snodgrass, Zeke Snodgrass, Landon Rovig, Abigail Rovig, Gavin Weststeyn, Cohen Weststeyn and Elias Weststeyn; her sister Liz Blom; her sister-in-law Hilda Gaalswyk; her parents, Peter Gaalswyk and Margaret Gaalswyk; and her siblings, Mary Romkema, Dorthy Harmsen, Cornelia Vander Wal, Hank, Tunis, Bill and Marinus Gaalswyk.
The family is thankful for the kind, loving, and compassionate care she received from Bethany Home staff, especially during the Covid-19 shutdown when her family couldn't be with her. Due to Covid-19, graveside service will be immediate family only.
