He is survived by: his sister Mary Darlene; his cousin Jack Griffith; his niece Mary Black; his wife Mary Wurtzler; and his children, Susan Wurtzler-Grubb, Micheal Wurzler, Jeannie Wurtzler and Donald E. Wurtzler. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
