He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Dyken and Angelina Van Dyken (Van Wyk). He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Van Dyken (Marlene) of Lynden, WA, Marylee Bell (Dale) of Scottsdale, AZ, Cynthia Ward (John), Klaipeda, Lithuania, Connie Hoag (JC) of Lynden and Laurel Rossi (Charles) of Everson, WA; his aunt Nell Van Wyk Gerber (Jim); and his uncle David. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and their children.
He died of Covid 19 at St. Joseph's Medical Center, Stockton.
