It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie Ray Thompson in Rio Dell, California, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, who passed away on July 20, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Thompson and Mary Thompson of Virginia; and his siblings, Corina, Don Thompson and Terry Thompson.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila (Brian Eilers); his wife Mary Ann Thompson; his daughters, Pamela Bishop (Michael) and Lisa Cook (Tom); his grandchildren, Teigan Eilers (Kate), Austin Cook, Joseph Bishop, Macie Mohorovich (Travis) and McKenzie Bishop; his sister Phyllis Sullaway (Jerry); and his friend Ken Teasley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to Hospice of Humboldt.
