Penny Essary Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Penny Essary (Ridgecrest, California), who passed away unexpectedly on January 2nd 2019, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends.
She was born to Cecil and Norma Jean (nee Yates) on April 10th, 1958 in Harrisburg, Illinois, both of whom proceeded her in death.
After graduating from Harrisburg High School in 1976, she acquired her nursing licence from Southeast Illinois College, spending the next thirty years taking care of patients from across the country. Survivors include two daughters; Allison of California, and Rebecca of Illinois, three brothers; Rick and Charles both of Illinois, Bill from Missouri, several nieces and nephews, and her cherished grandchildren, Nickolas of Ridgecrest, Gunnar and his brother Garry of Illinois, and family friend Garry of Illinois. a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Penny Essary to pay them a last tribute. As per requested, there will be no services, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Lung Association or to her grandchildren.
