He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Szczypiorski; his son Michael Szczypiorski; his parents, Alexander Szczypiorski and Elizabeth Szczypiorski; and his brothers, Robert Szczypiorski and William Szczypiorski.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Shindel (Kevin), Marie Zurn-Kopp (Jeff), Bernie Szczypiorski (Sondra) and Gina Szczypiorski (Renee Bustos); and his sisters, Betty Ann O'Rourke, Bernadette Wilson and Barbara Shearstone. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, and 15 Great Grandchildren.
