She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Marie Smith (Harris) and William Henry Smith; and her siblings, Beatrice Steele, Muriel Brooks, Eugene, Leland and Harris Smith.

She is survived by: her spouse Oliton T. Jacobs; and her daughter Frances Bea Jacobs. She is also survived by Her extended family members include her sisters-in-law along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
