“Since about 2010, I saw Joe at 24-hour Fitness. He came regularly. Soon afterward he said he "had until Christmas" with his cancer. But before Christmas came, he was part of a test treatment which countered his cancer for several years - until the last treatment caused him to lose his balance. Later he began a new treatment for another three years, until he could take no more. He was a champion fighter with the cheeriest attitude and infectious smile. Godspeed to you Joe!”
