He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Friesen and Tina Friesen (Harder); and his brothers, David, Arthur (Hannah), John (Mary), Jake (Ruth) and Calvin.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Hartzler; his daughters, Cyndi Richardson (Paul) and Chelle Sugimoto (Scott); his grandchildren, Katie Richardson, Josiah Richardson, Stephen Richardson, Allison Sugimoto, Ashley Sugimoto and Tiffany Sugimoto; his sister-in-law Marjorie Friesen; and his brother Marvin (Mary Ellen Friesen).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 9:00 AM.
