He is survived by: his children, Marla Ehoff and Lori Penner; his parent Emma Penner of Oklahoma; his wife Lola Penner; his grandchildren, Blake Ehoff and Tasha Jamison (Danny); and his great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie and Nora. He is also survived by married his sweetheart Lola (Barkman) Penner in 1954 and they later moved to Hanford where Marvin continued his life as a farmer, loving husband.
