He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Friesen and Elizabeth H. Friesen (Janzen); his sisters, Eldora Zielke (Floyd) and Darleen Tapp (Leonard); and his siblings-in-law, George Russell and Norma Jean Friesen.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene M. Friesen of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Curt Friesen (Julie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Dawn Bickett (Dean) of Bloomington, MN and Tim Friesen (Patty) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Laurel Guiliano (Eric), Hunter Friesen (Maggie), Elsa Friesen, Sydnee Rodriguez (Luis), Spenser Bickett (Hannah), Lee Friesen, Megan Henning (Kyle) and Melissa Carmon (Walker); his great grandchildren, Jacoby, Stella Guiliano, River Rodriguez, Oliver, Weston Henning and Rylen Carmon; and his siblings, Dale Friesen of Dayton, OH, Gene Friesen (JoAnn) of Mountain Lake, MN, Jerry Friesen (Sally) of Fullerton, CA, Earl Friesen (Mary Ann) of Colorado Springs, CO and Joan Russell-Zonkoski (John) of Prescot, AZ.
