It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Adelina Santiago (Redwood City, California), born in San Fidel, New Mexico, who passed away on March 14, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred G. Armijo and Lucy Otero Armijo; her children, Evangeline Alire (Preston Alire Jr.) of Vacaville, CA, Irene Spicher (David Spicher) of Redwood City, CA, Mark Santiago (Beverly Santiago) of Redwood City and Daniel Santiago of Rio Rancho, NM; her grandchildren, Jill Fowler, Paul Alire, Richard Briggs, Tony Santiago, James Gillespie (Dino), Gina Glenn, Wendy Duenas, Theresa Castillo, Ruben Castillo, Samuel Santiago, Mark Santiago, Jason Santiago, Keith Santiago, Ryan Santiago and Elizabeth Santiago; and her son Alfred Santiago (Freddy). She was also cherished by 34 great-grandchildren.
