He was predeceased by: his parents, Justice Norman Elkington and Georgia Elkington (Gilcrest); and his former wife Mary Elkington. He is survived by: his sisters, Norma Jean Curley and Helen Diestel; his son Ken Elkington (Joannie); his grandchildren, Cheryl Raffetto (Tom), Adam Elkington (Britta), Taylor Elkington (Jill), Connor Elkington (Elizabeth), Caroline Raffetto and Jeremy Raffetto; his great grandchildren, Aldo, Luke, Flora, Caden and Avery; and his wife Mary Catherine O'Donnell. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Blake Memorial Foundation which is dedicated to making an impact in the lives of students with Dyslexia and ADHD.
