He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hudson and Mildred Zoe Fullmer (Patterson); and his wife Ruth Maison. He is survived by: his sister Patrice Faver; and his children, Drew, Paul (Philip), Adele Stratton (Wendy) and Diantha Galli (Jerome). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 8 nieces and nephews.

He was heavily involved in the Tweed Foundation, Angle Society, and Kiwanis Club.
