Schmitz; his brother Gary; his wife Laura Patrcia Glover (Loré); his son David (Loré); his fiancée Karen Leite; his children, John Stephen, Andrew John, Ryan Joseph and Hannah Janel; his grandson John David; and his sisters, Maria Byron and Ann Grimes.
