John Donald Mackinnon Jr. Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2018, at the age of 97, John Donald Mackinnon Jr. (Redondo Beach, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. MacKinnon and Ellen Ayers MacKinnon; his brother Neil MacKinnon; his niece Lynne Hochanadel; his parents-in-law, Jack Mundy and Margaret Mundy (Meg); his siblings-in-law, Lenore Horton and Russ Horton; and his niece Peggy Horton (Margaret).

He is survived by: his wife Janet M. Mundy; his children, John MacKinnon (Mary), Douglas MacKinnon, Christine MacKinnon Payne (Chris) and Lauren MacKinnon De La (Walt); his sister Eleanor MacKinnon Hochanadel; and his great grandchildren, Nusia Schoenholz, Ivan Schoenholz, Cole Johnson, Cade Johnson, Jake, Tory and Reese Egan. He is also survived by his six grandchildren and his seven great-grandchildren.
