She was predeceased by: her husband Santos; her daughter Dolores Gunsalus; and her granddaughter Natalie Nevarez. She is survived by: her children, Linda Nevarez Mekaru (Roy Mekaru), Cynthia Nevarez De Leon and Gregg Nevarez (Alison); her son-in-law Jim Gunsalus; her grandchildren, Timothy Olivas, Susan Olivas-Moreno, Nancy Olivas, James Gunsalus, Leslie Gunsalus, Monique De Leon, Joseph De Leon, Andrew Nevarez and Daniel Nevarez; her great grandchildren, Michael Hesseltine, Angelica De Leon, Emma Olivas, Ian Olivas and Rachel Moreno; and her sisters, Mona Martin, Teresa Keeler and Raquel Howe.
