He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Pio Araya and Maria Isabel Figueroa; his wife Michelle; his children, Roberto and Luz Maria; and his daughter-in-law Luisa. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
