She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Earl Higdon and Lois Davenport Higdon; her husband Kenneth Lund Nielsen; her siblings, Terry V Higdon, Don L Higdon (Jeanie), Rex P Hollidy and Marcella Hollidy Hollie; her stepmother Hazel Hollidy Higdon; her stepdaughter Dianna Nielsen; and her nephew-in-law Robert Williams.
She is survived by: her son John Lund Nielsen (Michele); her grandsons, Alex and Jose Nielsen; her stepdaughter Suzzie Nielsen Gray; her sister Jean Higdon Timmerman (Time); and her nieces and nephews, Rick Higdon (Blanche), Kelly Rowley, Bryon Timmerman, Jacqueline Higdon Stewart, Barbara Higdon Lockridge (Larry), Kathi Higdon Seagraves (Grant), Rhonda Higdon (Clarence), Rachel Rowley Wold (Scott) and Tracy Fox Murdock.
