He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Kara and Julia Kara (Daly); and his siblings, Judith Wenrick and John Christopher Kara. He is survived by: his significant other Chong Slonecker of Redlands; his siblings, Bev Kiecker (Al) of Apple Valley, MN and Larry Kara (Christine) of Escondido; his brother-in-law Jon Wenrick (Heidi) of Claremont; his nephew David; and his niece Judy.
