He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Flores and Frances Flores (Floriano); his wife Virgie; his grandfather Simon Floriano; his son John James Flores Jr.; his siblings, Rudy, Freddy, Ralph, Frank "Barney", Raymond, Louie "Topo" and Hopie; his grandchildren, Adriana, Alyssa and Mark Anthony; and his great grandchild Baby Sean.
He is survived by: his children, Simon Flores, Virginia Dominguez (Chris), Lisa Flores, Mikki Benz and Peter Flores (Mary); his siblings, Frances Vildosola, Peter Flores, Ruby Flores, Arthur Larriba, Phillip "Kookie" Larriba and Marylou "Stuffy" Larriba; and his pet Jaz. He is also survived by twenty-nine grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.
