With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Rae Schwab in Redlands, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carol Rae departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carol Rae may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carol Rae leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beata Amelia Ziemer and Clarence Ray Hildreth; her siblings, Dorothy, Naomi and Raymond; and her great great grandchild Savannah Grace.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Francis Schwab; and her children, Kenneth Schwab, Kathy Rickey (Ken), Darlene Kargel (Brian) and Douglas Schwab (Tracy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery (5525 US-1, Mims, FL 32754).
