She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; and her siblings, Dick Pederson and Avanel Thulien. She is survived by: her children, Erica Barbosa and Alex Barbosa (Krista); her grandson Nick Barbosa; her brother Norman Pederson (Susan); and her brother-in-law Bruce Thulien (Jeanette). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to either Friends of Shasta County Libraries or the Boomtown Museum in Shasta Lake, CA.
