Lesley Budd Graham Jr. Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father and husband, Lesley Budd Graham Jr., who left us on January 1, 2025, at the age of 89.

Born on December 29, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Lesley dedicated his life to family, music, and service. After graduating high school, he joined the Navy, where he proudly served his country. Following his military service, he attended Humboldt State University, where he met Frances Lucile Graham. They shared 50 cherished years together until her passing. Lesley later married Darlene Larsen Graham, and they enjoyed 12 wonderful years together.

Lesley was a proud father to two children: Leslyn Graham Kraus (David) and Scott Graham. He was also step-father to Kathy Navarro (Stephan) and Tim Johnson (Susan). He was a beloved figure in their lives and will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

Throughout his life, Lesley had a passion for music. He played the trumpet in various bands and was an active member of the community band in Redding, California, until the remarkable age of 88. His love for music was a source of joy for him and those around him.

Lesley worked for the U.S. Government for his entire career, embodying a strong work ethic and dedication to service. He will be remembered as a kind-hearted husband, a supportive father, and a friend to many.

Lesley has requested that no services be held. He will be interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Igo, California.
