He was predeceased by: his parents, Nimrod N. Wilkins and Lydia E. Wilkins; and his siblings, Rufus, Vera, Bond, Clifford and Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Jeanette (Jeannie), Lynette (Tony Stine), Dennis (Courtney Wilkins) and Dawneeta (Blair Schmautz); his grandchildren, Joshua, Abraham, Zachary, Benjamin, David, Lydia, Elisha, Lucy, Elliana and Charlie; his sister Be Steelman; and his sister-in-law Gladys Wilkins. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made payable to Union Gospel Mission or Oddfellow's Lodge and sent in care of Shaw & Sons Funeral Home (201 N. 2nd Street, Yakima, WA 98901), who is caring for the family.
