He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Benardo and Esther Halfon; and his brothers, Leo and Albert Benardo. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Benardo (Duncan); his daughter Ariana Walicke (Benardo); his son-in-law Adam Walicke; and his granddaughter Elin Walicke. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and extended family.
