He was predeceased by: his parents, William Switzer and Elizabeth Switzer. He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie; his children, Cynthia Jackson, Tony Switzer and Dawn Switzer-Hermenegildo; and his grandchildren, Stephen, Ryan Jackson, Sarah, Sophia Switzer, Joseph and Elizabeth Hermenegildo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Anna cared for Barry as his Alzheimer's progressed, until she became ill and preceded him in death on July 23, 2019.
