He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman "Doc" Howard and Mamie Howard (Bryant); his siblings, Louise Patterson, Littrell Howard, Jean Jones and Dorman Howard; and his sons-in-law, Lin Fowler and Jose Apodaca.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rochelle Fowler and Sherry Apodaca of Indio, CA; his granddaughter Naomi Hutcheson; his great grandchildren, Dayton Scott-Walker, Avishanna Mattingly, Andrew McNair, Kaitlyn Lynd, Katrina Hutcheson, Kaylee McNair, Edward Powers, Sonora Arellano and Indigo Arellano; his brothers-in-law, Steve Duffle (Donna) and Jerry Duffle of Thousand Palms, CA.; and his spouse Beverly Duffle. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and honorary nieces and nephews.
