As Vernon departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Vernon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Vernon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gaye Lorraine. He is survived by: his children, Lorraine, Lloyd and Mark; his grandsons, Jeremy and Augustine; and his daughter-in-law Maira Lopez.
Viewing was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Price Funeral Chapel (6335 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights, CA 95610). A rosary was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Vianney Catholic Church (10497 Coloma Rd, Rancho Cordova, CA 95670). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lone Tree Cemetery (24591 Fairview Ave, Hayward, CA 94542).
