It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Vanderveen of Ramona, California, born in Greenville, Ohio, who passed away on October 7, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Marie Soares; his children, Susan Vanderveen, Sandra Vanderveen Sked, Robert S. Vanderveen, Jr. and Sheila Vanderveen; his grandchildren, Samantha, Jason Carruthers and Theodore Leker; and his siblings, Col. James R. Vanderveen, Judy Cannedy and Wilma Perino. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
