In the vast expanse of eternity, Anita Clare shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Anita Clare farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Avery and Doris Avery; her sister Thelma; and her brother-in-law Clayton Dyrr (Warren Lynn Johnson). She is survived by: her children, Sindy Avery McCosker (Kevin), Sherry Cooper (Doug), Judy Koukoulas (George) and Jim Johnson (Teresa). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Anita asked that in lieu of flowers, any memorial gifts be sent to Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church 750 Moss Ave, Chico, CA 95926.
