He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian Gams and Ralph Gams; his wife Anne Kaska Gams; his brother Eric; his nephews, Alexander and Jacob; his great-nephew Caleb; his stepchildren, Linda, Joli and Mateo; and his stepgrandchildren, Maile, Adelaide, Leland and Leila.
