He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo F Ziminsky and Eleanor Ziminsky. He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Phillip (Kim), Robert (Andrea) and Karyn (Andy); his grandchildren, Alex, Jason, Matthew, Mark, Alyssa and Kaitlyn; and his great grandchild Nora.

In lieu of flowers, Leo requested donations be made in his name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
