It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hisao Hamanaka (Poway, California), who passed away on April 25, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Richard, Ellen, Masao, Matsuji and Tomeo Hamanaka.

He is survived by: his wife Akiko; his daughter Arlene Chang (Bradlee); his grandsons, Alex, Tyler and Grant Chang; and his sister Yukie Yamamoto (Albert).
