He was predeceased by: his father Nick Avila; and his grandparents, Jose, Pilar Avila and Juan Martinez. He is survived by: his uncle Joe Baeza; his mother Rose Castillo (Miguel); and his siblings, Sylvia Campos (Tony), Frances Castillo, Johnny Avila (Sonia) and Miguel Castillo. He is also survived by his grandmother, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
