She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Garrison and Dora Garrison; her husband James "Jimmy" Dodson; her son Larry Dean Dodson; her stepdaughter Patricia Rutherford; and her stepgrandson Richard Banks.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda; her son-in-law Charles Hansen of Porterville; her grandchildren, Christy Nelson of Bakersfield, Kim and Trent Barnes of Bakersfield; her great grandchildren, Jacob Nelson, Branton Barnes, Camille Nelson, Cailynne Nelson and Haily Barnes; her brothers, Ernie Garrison of Visalia and Floyd Fullerton of Hanford; her stepdaughter Marilyn Bishop; and her stepgrandchildren, Shaun Banks, Andrea Galan, Joe Gardinier, Jean Rutherford, Paul Rutherford and Sandy Hull. She is also survived by her siblings and grandchildren, quilting with her mother, shopping with her sisters, traveling with her daughter and son-in-law.
