He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Escalante (Marquez) and Lorenzo Escalante; and his sister Arlene. He is survived by: his children, Raul Jr. (Antonia), Yvonne and Joni; and his siblings, Hilda, Gina, Chuck (Sandy) and Hector Escalante.
