With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta Sitlani of Pleasant Hill, California, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her son Max Shoka of Pleasant Hill, CA; her stepsons, David Sitlani of Seattle, WA and Daniel Sitlani of Berkeley, CA; her sister Debbie Salmon of Buffalo Grove, NY; her nephew Erik Bataller of Buffalo Grove, NY.; her grandchildren, Mia Shoka, Syd Shoka, Zachary Sitlani, Maya Sitlani, Eliza Sitlani, Laila Sitlani and Eli Sitlani; and her daughters-in-law, Estrella Shoka, Marta Sitlani and Colleen Sitlani.
Alberta's ashes will be scattered in the San Francisco Bay on Sunday at a small ceremony due to COVID concerns.
Donations in her name can be made to Doctors Without Borders and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network in Manhattan Beach, CA.
