She was predeceased by: her father Ignacio Yáñez; her nephews, Juan Antonio and Ricardo Daniel Martínez; and her siblings-in-law, Josefa and Jesús Silva.
She is survived by: her husband Gregorio López; her daughter Elia López-Orozco; her son-in-law José Rubén Orozco; her foster son Joél Zamorano; her niece Rebekah Wynn; her mother Esperanza Yáñez; and her siblings, Alicia Yáñez-Martínez, Rita González, Ignacio, Simon, Roberto, José Luis, Carlos and Alberto Yáñez. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces, and several cousins.
