She was predeceased by: her husband Ignacio Yáñez; her daughter Etelvira López; her parents, Simón Nava and Ester Nava; and her grandsons, Juan Antonio and Ricardo Daniel Martínez.

She is survived by: her children, Alicia Yáñez-Martínez, Rita González, Ignacio, Simon, Robert, José Luis, Carlos and Alberto Yáñez; her children-in-law, Gregorio, Roberto, Mercedes, Paula, Kim, Laura and Robin; and her siblings, Rita Contreras, Sofía Nava and Adalberto Nava. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
