He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thayer and Rosalie Thayer; and his daughter Robin Thayer. He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his children, Tena N. Thayer, Kelley P. Thayer of Placerville and Robert W. Thayer of Placerville; his grandsons, James Thayer of Chico and Josh Thayer of Cool; and his sisters, Alberta Anthony of King City, Bertha Israel of Hayfork and Calif.
