It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Rae Hilyard (Placerville, California), born in Burley, Idaho, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dellis Winward and Mary Ellen Gibson; her siblings, Richard, Ella, Elva, Naomi and Mary Ruth; her sons, Michael Ernest and Joseph Ernest; her nephew Richard; her great-nephew Mark; and her stepson Walter.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Gardner Ernest Clark and Robert "Bob" Dean Beaver; her friend Fern; her husband Richard Smith; her children, Linda Lee, Mary Ellen, NaDonna Glee, Charles Wallace (Becky Cheney), LeRoy DeWayne (Penny McGavin), Patricia Darlene (Darin Carpenter) and Dan (Moe); her stepchildren, Ricky, Josh, Jake and Rogena; her siblings, VJ and Dellis DeWayne; and also, Heather, Richard and Tara. She is also survived by 35 grand children, 43 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Diamond Springs Ward Building (3275 Cedar Ravine Rd, Placerville, CA 95667). A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
