It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Sylvia (Placentia, California), born in Greensburg, Indiana, who passed away on March 8, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Brown Sylvia and Grace Mae Sylvia (Swain); his wife Joan Dolores Sylvia; and his brothers, Donald Sylvia and Norman Gertz.
He is survived by: his children, Catherine Bourne, Paul Sylvia, Cheryl Pena, Patricia Van Derheiden, Maria Fleuret and Grace Sickler. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
