He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvaretta "Babe" DiMaggio and Vincent DiMaggio; his father-in-law John Reilly III; and his brother-in-law John Reilly IV. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Vincent III (Natalie) of Oakley, Dominica Marie (José) of Antioch and Maryfrances (Alina) of Pittsburg; his stepmother Peggy DiMaggio of Pittsburg; his siblings, Dennis (Sandra) of Connecticut, Denise (Joe) of Antioch, Sally of Elk Grove and Kitty (Anthony) of Oakley; his mother-in-law Jeanne Reilly of Pittsburg; and his siblings-in-law, Mary of El Cajon, Ingrid of Sunnyvale, Rita (John) of Antioch, Joseph (Lacie) of Orangevale and Peggy (Niels) of Portland. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in Vinny's name to Lewy Body Dementia Association or Michael J. Fox Foundation.
