She was predeceased by: her mother Lucy Romero; her son-in-law Jose Vasquez; her siblings, Rosie Romero and Baby Richard; her grandparents, Tiburcio, Guadalupe Garcia, Diego and Rosie Romero; her uncles, Frank Garcia and Salvador Torres; and her niece Ameeya McDonald.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel Lopez; her children, Sabrina Contreras (Efrem Contreras), Selena Vasquez and Raul Berdiago Jr. (Hillary Berdiago); her father Edward Romero; her siblings, Martha Romero, Richard Romero (Melanie Romero) and Teena Romero; her grandchildren, Montrel Contreras (Hanicia Contreras), Lorenzo Contreras, Jose Vasquez, Eliza Vasquez, Neiko Contreras, Kaitlyn Berdiago, Tallon Berdiago, Elijah Contreras, Marcello Vasquez and Isaiah Contreras; and her great grandchildren, Ayden Contreras and Adrian Contreras.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 has taken so many of our loved ones. Valerie had so much more life to live, her life was cut too short due to Covid-19.
