She was predeceased by: her parents, Gumara Sandoval and Ramon Guzman; her husband Guillermo Muñiz; her son Bill Muñiz; and her sisters, Magdalena Guzman and Lucy Zendejas.
She is survived by: her children, Alberto Muñiz (Lourdes Gutierrez) of Pittsburg and Marcela Muñiz (Josh Roper) of San Francisco; her granddaughters, Alejandra, Mariana Roper of San Francisco and Elisabeth Elliott McCreary of Albuquerque; and her siblings, Jeannie Herrera of Antioch, Philip Guzman of Wichita and Martin Guzman of Pittsburg. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Pittsburg Funeral Chapel (2295 Railroad Ave, Pittsburg, CA 94565). A prayer was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Good Shepherd (3200 Harbor St, Pittsburg, CA 94565).
